Les Orres
Les Orres is located in the Southern Alps, almost 100 kilometers south of Briancon, above the town of Embrun. Its track system is 100 kilometers long, the tracks lie between 1,550 and 2,720 meters in height, partly above the forest line, partly in pine forest. This environment makes the terrain diverse and at the same time magical.
The clearly sized ski area has favorable features for those who are hooking up their skis for the first time or have only been lucky enough to hit the snowy slopes a few times, but at the same time it also offers an unforgettable experience for those who already ski or snowboard at a professional level, as the ski center is constantly developing and adapting. to the needs of skiers.
No fewer than 19 lifts are available for skiers and snowboarders, and 190 snow cannons work to ensure that there is ample snow cover on the pistes even in the event of unfavorable weather.
Boarders can enjoy an excellent snowpark consisting of three zones: one each for boardercross, snake run and slopestyle.
Les Orres holiday village is divided into two parts:
The center is located at 1,650 meters, where all kinds of services are available. Among other things, there is also a "summer" bobsleigh track, which, of course, welcomes guests with open arms even in winter.
Bois Méan, i.e. the newly built part of the holiday village, is located at 1,800 meters. Each apartment building has a wellness area (pool and sauna), and there are several restaurants, bars, shops and stores in the central square.
After a whole day of skiing, guests can choose from a number of entertainment and recreation options, it is enough to mention the ice rink, dog sledding and bobsledding, but those who still have energy left can go on a walking tour.
And the evenings could start (or end...) anywhere, such as at various entertainment venues.
