Please note that classic travel insurance does not cover winter ski trips.

Our accomodations and packages already include a 10 days Ski Star Insurance for 24€/person.

We are unable to take accident, illness and baggage insurance for individuals without health insurance in an EEA member state or in a country outside of a member state!

Call the insurance company within 24 hours of the occurrence of any damage so that they can help you with the administration.

In case of choosing the wrong type, the fee for changing the type is 3 €/insurance.

OUR WINTER SPORTS INSURANCE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

• valid for popular winter sports: skiing, snowboarding, sledding, ice skating, snowmobiling, snow rafting
• winter sports equipment cover, e.g. for ski and snowboard equipment, skates, sleds - increased liability insurance limits
• reimbursement of ski passes in the event of an accident or illness involving a hospital stay of the insured
• also covers the costs of the rescue helicopter
• comprehensive accident, illness and luggage insurance
• liability insurance and legal protection

RECOMMENDATION OF THE CONSULAR SERVICE:

It is recommended that citizens arriving in France with the intention of skiing have adequate insurance: in addition to the "European Health Insurance Card" (which can be requested from OEP before departure), it is also recommended to take out special additional baggage, accident and rescue insurance, because in the absence of this, the possible, without coverage, often huge costs are borne entirely by the citizen who suffered an accident. It is fundamentally important to always respect the official warnings regarding the use of the track, the weather, and especially the danger of avalanches, and to be up-to-date with any official prohibitions and to strictly comply with them.
